I practiced as a therapist facilitating individual psychotherapy sessions, group therapy sessions, somatic group sessions, contemplative group sessions, and psychedelic experience integration sessions.
In the fall of 2023, I began my PhD doctoral education in Somatic Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS).
At the end of 2023, I officially created Verity Healing, LLC as a business entity and was moving forward to having a private practice while still working towards licensure in Colorado (LPCC).
2022-2023
In 2022-2023, I was placed in my last clinical internship at the University of Colorado- Boulder (CU Boulder) within the Alcohol & Other Drugs department of the university’s Health Promotion department. At CU, I facilitated mandatory harm-reduction classes about substance use, safer use, overdose prevention & intervention, brief Naloxone first-responder education, & recovery support with the Collegiate Recovery Center (CRC). Overall, I have over 800 hours of volunteer clinical work within the MA education.
In addition to continuing to work with NAPS, I was a student liaison to the Naropa Center for Psychedelic Studies until I graduated in May 2023. Providing critical feedback on how Naropa University admin can better support students who use psychedelics for any reason- including harm reduction education and access to Naloxone & drug testing supplies.

In 2020, I moved to Colorado to pursue a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in Body Psychotherapy from Naropa University. In 2021, I was placed with my first clinical internship at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Denver. Aside from wellness calls & case management, I specifically worked with folks in resettlement that were concerned about body-based phenomena they were experiencing after resettling in the US. in an integrative approach to body psychotherapy and trauma-sensitive yoga therapy.
During this time I was also a co-facilitator with the student-led group Naropa Alliance for Psychedelic Studies (NAPS). NAPS led weekly group meetings to support community knowledge and connection related to psychedelic studies.
