Somatic counseling or psychotherapy, also known as body psychotherapy, is a form of therapy that incorporates body awareness and physical experiences into the healing process. Unlike traditional talk therapy, somatic psychotherapy acknowledges that trauma and emotional distress can be stored in the body. Through techniques such as breathwork, movement, and mindfulness, somatic therapy helps individuals release tension, process emotions, and achieve a greater sense of embodiment and overall mental health.

Reiki is a form of energy healing that involves the transfer of universal life energy through the practitioner's hands to the recipient. This practice aims to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support the body's natural healing processes. During a Reiki session, the practitioner gently places their hands on or just above the client's body in specific positions to facilitate the flow of energy. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that can be used to complement other therapeutic modalities and enhance overall well-being.
